« Go back homeHello friend! Have you decided to finally pay our server a visit, but is clueless on how to have a basic installation of minecraft?
Prismlauncher
Installation
Head over to Prismlaunche download page
You don’t have to use it, but I have already prepared a modpack that’s compatible with Prismlauncher for you.
Install it like you would normally.
Bypass (not so legal)
Should you not own a Minecraft account, then open up your terminal app and paste the following command:
For windows
echo {"accounts": [{"entitlement": {"canPlayMinecraft": true,"ownsMinecraft": true},"type": "MSA"}],"formatVersion": 3} > %appdata%/PrismLauncher/accounts.json
For Linux
echo '{"accounts": [{"entitlement": {"canPlayMinecraft": true,"ownsMinecraft": true},"type": "MSA"}],"formatVersion": 3}' > ~/.local/share/PrismLauncher/accounts.json
This would just create a new profile in Prismlauncher for you. Don’t forget to relaunch
The empty game profile should be called: “No profile (Xbox profile missing)”.
Click on the avatar button on the top right corner, then Manage accounts…, then Add offline, and input your username of choice (No space and no special characters except _)
When you launch an instance, select the account with the username that you just created and NOT THE EMPTY PROFILE, also set that as the default account.
Install instance
Now, we would install a preoptimized instance with already configured shaderpack:
In Prismlauncher, do the following:
- Click on Add instance
- Chose Import on the left side
- Paste in this link (you can also download it): http://files.dangnq.com/Preset.zip
- Click play, you should now have a working Minecraft instance with Fabulously Optimized and Complementary Unbound as a shader.
- Select Multiplayer, Add server, put a rememable name for the server and the given server address / ip address.
